Sedo’s public domain sales list for the past week has an interesting one at the top. Details are below for WordPlay.com.

Here’s a list of end user domain name sales that just completed at Sedo. You can view previous lists like this here.

WordPlay.com $100,000  – This is an interesting one. Dharmesh Shah, co-founder of HubSpot, built a Wordle practice app using this domain. So you can play “Wordle” but it’s not actually Wordle. It’s potentially problematic that he chose the name WordPlay, which is the name of the New York Times’ games section. The New York Times owns Wordle.

Immobill.com $15,500 – Whois lists Falguière Conseil as the registrant organization. When I Google this, it brings up a real estate firm that goes by Meilleurs. This makes sense because the word roughly translates to real estate.

TheH.com €15,000 – The H is a Mediterranean steakhouse in Orlando. It uses the domain TheHOrlando.com.

Halo.info $7,500 – This site appears to be connected to the HaloDotAPI, a service related to the Halo video game series.

Zemke.de €6,900 – This domain forwards to autohaus-zemke.de, the site for auto seller Autohaus Zemke.

Effendy.com $6,000 – I can’t tell exactly what Telesto Group BV does, but that might be because of Google Translate’s translation. It seems to help entrepreneurs with their concepts, perhaps building websites for them. This domain could be for a client.

Augen-auf.de  €5,000 – This domain forwards to a German page for pharmaceuticals company Roche. The domain translates to “open eyes” in German.

Toy.co $5,000  – Toy Factory has a title tag “fully automated makeup”. It’s a Shopify store coming soon. Seems like a low price for this domain.

Adventure.it €4,500 – Viaggi Nel Mondo SRL is an adventure travel company.

SimpleJob.de €3,700 – Simple Jobs is a logistics job board. It uses the domain simple-job.de.

KPIFramework.com $3,501 – A company called BlueCallom offers what it calls the “BlueCallom KPI Framework.”

MCtop.com $3,500- This is short for Minecraft Top. It forwards to MinecraftTop.com, where you’ll see a list of top Minecraft servers.

Säng.se €3,000 – This IDN forwards to seng.se, the site for bed and bedding company Seng.

Blogkens.com $2,000 – Blogkens is an SEO service for SaaS companies.
