Since Facebook was rebranded to be known as Meta the company has been acquiring and registering many Meta domain names, a lot, of course, is for brand protection purposes but several do leave questions too as to why Meta Platforms Inc would want to own some of these domain names noted below.
The one we are all aware of course was the acquisition of Meta.com but that was done well ahead of the company rebrand, which you can read about the history of Meta.com from a previous post that I wrote last year by clicking here.
